Our friends Lois and David were kind enough to invite us to join them on an excursion to the Brandywine River Museum in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania, yesterday. It houses a very substantial collection of paintings by members of the extended Wyeth family. Afterwards we walked along the banks of the Brandywine at about 2:00 pm on a 100-degree humid day. Here are some souvenirs of that walk.
