Or one of them, anyway, at the end of Pear Pad Road. I captured this image on our last evening in the Outer Banks, near the ‘Lost Colony’ site. As you can see, after the storms that dogged us in the first week or so of our vacation, it had warmed up considerably and a bragillion people had been on this beach (or one child after too much sugar).

Starburst and sun flares! Point your lens into the sun and that’s what you’ll get. I admit I colluded by stopping the lens down to f/22.
